Micah 4:1-7 First Lesson
1. In days to come the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be raised up above the hills. Peoples shall stream to it,
2. and many nations shall come and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth instruction, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
3. He shall judge between many peoples, and shall arbitrate between strong nations far away; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more;
4. but they shall all sit under their own vines and under their own fig trees, and no one shall make them afraid; for the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.
5. For all the peoples walk, each in the name of its god, but we will walk in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever. Restoration Promised after Exile
6. In that day, says the Lord, I will assemble the lame and gather those who have been driven away, and those whom I have afflicted.
7. The lame I will make the remnant, and those who were cast off, a strong nation; and the Lord will reign over them in Mount Zion now and forevermore.

Romans 5:1-11 Second Lesson
1. Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2. through whom we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand; and we boast in our hope of sharing the glory of God.
3. And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
4. and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,
5. and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
6. For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
7. Indeed, rarely will anyone die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person someone might actually dare to die.
8. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us.
9. Much more surely then, now that we have been justified by his blood, will we be saved through him from the wrath of God.
10. For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.
11. But more than that, we even boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. Adam and Christ

Ephesians 2:11-19 Epistle
11. So then, remember that at one time you gentiles by birth, called “the uncircumcision” by those who are called “the circumcision”—a circumcision made in the flesh by human hands—
12. remember that you were at that time without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
13. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
14. For he is our peace; in his flesh he has made both into one and has broken down the dividing wall, that is, the hostility between us,
15. abolishing the law with its commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new humanity in place of the two, thus making peace,
16. and might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross, thus putting to death that hostility through it.
17. So he came and proclaimed peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near,
18. for through him both of us have access in one Spirit to the Father.
19. So then, you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and also members of the household of God,
