Exodus 19:17-25 First Lesson
17. Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God. They took their stand at the foot of the mountain.
18. Now Mount Sinai was wrapped in smoke, because the Lord had descended upon it in fire; the smoke went up like the smoke of a kiln, while the whole mountain shook violently.
19. As the blast of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses would speak and God would answer him in thunder.
20. When the Lord descended upon Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain, the Lord summoned Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
21. Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go down and warn the people not to break through to the Lord to look; otherwise many of them will perish.
22. Even the priests who approach the Lord must consecrate themselves or the Lord will break out against them.”
23. Moses said to the Lord, “The people are not permitted to come up to Mount Sinai; for you yourself warned us, saying, ‘Set limits around the mountain and keep it holy.’”
24. The Lord said to him, “Go down, and come up bringing Aaron with you; but do not let either the priests or the people break through to come up to the Lord; otherwise he will break out against them.”
25. So Moses went down to the people and told them.

Galatians 4:1-7 Second Lesson
1. My point is this: heirs, as long as they are minors, are no better than those who are enslaved, though they are the owners of all the property,
2. but they remain under guardians and trustees until the date set by the father.
3. So with us; while we were minors, we were enslaved to the elemental principles of the world.
4. But when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5. in order to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as children.
6. And because you are children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”
7. So you are no longer a slave but a child, and if a child then also an heir through God.

2 Corinthians 13:11-14 Epistle
11. Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Put things in order, listen to my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
12. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you.
13. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.

Matthew 28:16-20 Gospel
16. Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.
17. When they saw him, they worshiped him, but they doubted.
18. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
20. and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
